Growing up in a family that documented most of its existence with film and photos, I was naturally drawn to the medium. As I got older, I realized that there was so much more you could do with just a camera and a few lights. Below are a few examples of what I’ve done with that knowledge.
Over the years of pursuing and honing my craft as a camera operator, I built a vast working knowledge of all the tools at the cinematographer's disposal: lights, rigs, filters and grip gear — Shaper’s of light, the paint to the cinematic canvas. Below are a few examples of my work as a lighting technician.
When I started out, most of the equipment we used pretty much baked the color into the footage, but lately, as I’ve had the pleasure of working with higher end cameras and their resulting footage, I’ve developed an affinity for the post-production process of Digital Color Grading.
